How We Solved The Problems
To ensure service were maintained safety for users and our teams, we firstly installed an independent fire detection system which enabled the old system to be removed and disconnect from the old system as it could not be linked out to suit the phase works [the new system was linked into the hospital main system but as it was latest technology could be fully maintained throughout the works–while these works were completed the M&E teams were able to validate all the existing services so they had full knowledge of the existing systems and could maintain them while installing the new upgraded services.

How We Solved The Problems
Daily meetings with the Client team ensured all parties where fully aware of what works we were undertaking and we had records of when important meetings / classes would be happening so we ensure noisy works would not disturb the office and study groups.
We ensure all demolition works were carried out over weekends to ensure areas were altered and safe areas formed to keep site areas and general areas separated at all times, when we carried out the refurbishment of the Kitchen / welfare we set up a temporary tea point in a location to ensure the team had full facilities during these works.
