Apprenticeships on our contracts:
We already operate a trade apprenticeship and trainee business admin programme with local colleges above the 5% industry norm, at 18.5%, and include the most up to date figures in our submissions.
Method Statement:
- Onboarding undertaken by Operations and HR Manager
- Contracts Manager is their mentor
- Nominated college determined by where the apprentice lives, where they can attend college and the area within which they will be working
- Regular reporting
- Our partnership with Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) also offers part funding to deliver the qualification training, whilst we give onsite experience and a sustainable paid employment opportunity
- During mobilisation and formal engagement, we also meet with our subcontractors to review feasible opportunities they can commit to in respect of apprentice appointments, new placements to vacancies or training, where viable

Improvements For Sustainability and The Environment to Tackle Climate Change and Reduce Waste
- It is our policy that our operations, products and services accomplish their functions in a manner that demonstrates responsibility for protection of the environment
- We support this through our Waste Recycling Process and Carbon Reduction Plan (available upon request).

Environmental Impact
The environmental impact on our contracts is mitigated in many ways; from purchasing of products locally and local labour to van sharing and office consumables recycling initiatives.
Ethical Sourcing
We ethically source goods and services and this is proactively managed and comprehensively reported on.
Waste Management
Waste is managed in a variety of ways, and we ensure high levels of construction waste is diverted from landfill.
Implementation
We have a dedicated team of designated personnel for social value implementation. They coordinate and track our progress; report on progress and ensure we have a flexible approach to social value to provide the maximum benefit to our clients.
